Understanding the Force of Fascia

Fascia is an industry buzzword we are constantly hearing about. But what is it exactly, and how can ligament stimulation reach fascia to affect movement patterns and pain? Do you view the body as 600 muscles to treat, or as one fascial envelope with 600 muscle pockets?

Ligaments are loaded with informational mechano-receptors that determine joint and muscle function. Because the body’s soft tissue systems work together to support the structure, ligament stimulation techniques reboot and rebalance the body’s tensegrity system, with gentle, immediate results.

This hands-on class, taught by JoAnn Kovaly, LMT, M-Lift, PMA-CPT, will help you better understand what fascia is, how it affects movement patterns, and how fascia restrictions can cause the rotations, hikes, and twisting that we see in posture and on the table. Everything is truly connected, and a few simple ligament stimulation treatments can affect the entire fascial structure.
