Every time JoAnn Kovaly teaches a class about treating pain in a specific area, she always hears “I wish you had a class for the ___ area too!” So that’s what she decided to do: offer a series on “Annihilating Pain.” This is the final class in the series (more info below).
Part 6: Addressing Shoulder Pain
Shoulder pain is a chronic condition affecting up to 25% of our population at any given time. This class will begin by exploring common shoulder pain pathologies—including rotator cuff, impingement, and frozen shoulder—followed by hands-on myofascial testing techniques that will enable you to create an accurate treatment roadmap. Lastly, we’ll spend more hands-on time learning unique treatment approaches that are not only gentle, but immediately effective for each of these pathologies.
Please Bring the Following to Class:
- 1 set of sheets to be used while you are on the massage table
- Face cradle cover
- Massage emollient
- Paper and pen for note-taking
- Wear clothes you can move easily in
