Every time JoAnn Kovaly teaches a class about treating pain in a specific area, she always hears “I wish you had a class for the ___ area too!” So that’s what she’s decided to do: offer a series on “Annihilating Pain.” This is the second to last class in the series; see the full list of classes below.
Part 5: Addressing Cervical Pain
The O/A accounts for a large percentage of cervical range of motion. Loss of this range of motion has a profound affect on the shoulders and hips. How do you know? Come learn simple testing and ligament treatment protocols to determine if there is a cervical influence. This hands-on class will also cover treatment of the scalenes, SCM, and splenius musculature.
Please Bring the Following to Class:
- 1 set of sheets to be used while you are on the massage table
- Face cradle cover
- Massage emollient
- Paper and pen for note-taking
- Wear clothes you can move easily in
