4 CE Credits

Every time JoAnn Kovaly teaches a class about treating pain in a specific area, she always hears “I wish you had a class for the ___ area too!” So that’s what she’s decided to do: offer a series on “Annihilating Pain.” This is the second class in the series; see the list of upcoming classes below.

Part 2: How the Force of Fascia Affects Pain

What is fascia, and how do our treatments affect this life force? In this hands-on class, students will explore the intricacies of fascia and how it affects every aspect of movement, restriction, and pain. You’ll learn how the ligament system enhances the fascial and nervous systems communication, allowing bio tensegrity to return to homeostasis. This class will give you the knowledge to “hack” into the huge communication network of fascia—a treatment force that is going to ensure great results in every treatment session you do from here on.

Please Bring the Following to Class:

  • 1 set of sheets to be used while you are on the massage table
  • Face cradle cover
  • Blanket
  • Massage emollient
  • Paper and pen for note-taking
  • Wear clothes you can move easily in
